BROOMFIELD, Colo., March 10, 2009 - MWH, the wet infrastructure sector leader and global provider of environmental engineering, construction and strategic consulting services, announced today that Christopher Puccio has joined the firm as principal consulting and technology manager for the Business Solutions Group.
 
Puccio brings nearly 20 years experience in information technology (IT) strategy and planning as both a consultant and municipal government leader.  He is experienced in focusing on developing technical strategies that enhance business value, business case and financial justifications, project management, IT augmentation strategies, and implementation of business enabling systems.

At MWH, Puccio will be responsible for identifying business issues impacting clients and developing collaborative strategies. Leading a team of management consultants, Puccio will deliver business and technology consulting services that recommend and implement fully-integrated business process and system improvements. This step will target and advance business performance, enhance customer experience, and increase business value.

Puccio's previous experience includes senior consultant at the broadband consulting firm, Civitium LLC.  In a prior position, Puccio held the position of chief information officer, and director of IT for the City of Boulder, Colorado. In this role, Puccio provided overall strategic direction for technology initiatives and implementation of technology-focused business improvement and operations projects.

Puccio has a bachelor's in marketing from Belmont University and an M.B.A. from the University of Massachusetts Isenberg School of Management.
