MWH and PB Open Joint Office in Parramatta, Australia

Sydney, Australia, August 11, 2009 – Tomorrow the Hon David Borger, Minister for Housing, Minister for Western Sydney, unveiled the joint office of two leading infrastructure consultancies, MWH and Parsons Brinckerhoff (PB), in Parramatta.

The new office was initiated to strengthen the PB/MWH partnership and allow the two companies to provide an improved service to a broad range of Western Sydney clients.

The move brings a multitude of benefits including local economic growth through increasing trade to local businesses.

MWH’s New South Wales State Manager Peter Williams said there will be capacity for 56 professionals to be based at the new office.

“Locating water and transport professionals who specialise in planning, environment and infrastructure consultancy into one office will allow the team to deliver an enhanced service direct to our neighbouring clients,” said Mr Williams.

PB’s New South Wales Regional Director David Stuart-Watt said the team looked forward to becoming an integral part of the business landscape and contributing technical capabilities to local clients.

“We are pleased to join the Parramatta community and see the long term benefits of the move for staff and local business economy,” said Mr Stuart-Watt.

The MWH/PB office is located at Level 4, 110 George Street in the Octagon Building, which is currently undergoing upgrades to improve the environmental qualities of the building and achieve a formal National Australian Built Environment Rating System (NABERS) energy rating.
