Warrington, United Kingdom, April 12, 2010 - MWH, the global wet infrastructure sector leader and provider of environmental engineering, construction and strategic consulting services, has completed the successful delivery of a four year program management commission for Scottish Water.
The program delivered more than £250 million of wastewater network improvements as part of the Unsatisfactory Intermittent Discharge (UID) Program. The UID Program was managed throughout by MWH and ensured Scottish Water delivered its regulatory commitments to both The Water Industry Commission for Scotland (WICS) and the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA).
David Nevin, delivery manager for Scottish Water Capital Investment Delivery says, "MWH has provided excellent program management on the UID Program for the last four years. This year we exceeded all our expectations, hitting the very stretched target of 91 outputs and surpassing an equally demanding achievement last year."
